Following
the planting, Earth Guardians continued to celebrate Indigenous April
by studying three young leaders who are developing important actions in
the environmental movement.
These leaders include Jeguaka Mirim, a young
writer, illustrator and indigenous rights activist as well as
Itzcuauhtli and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, hip hop performers and directors
of Earth Guardians.
Brazilian youth are asking questions of these
leaders and will receive responses via video that will be shown to the
entire school!
